It is hard to believe that tencel made from 100% wood pulp. Tencel is actually the brand name of the lyocell fibre. And in terms of the fabric, Tencel is eco-friendly as it's derived from sustainably-grown eucalyptus trees without chemical pesticides, genetic modification or any of those harmful things often used in material manufacture.
Used in clothing, It's breathable, holds dye brilliantly and is very durable and tough. It's also suitable for sensitive skin, making it a good alternative to cotton for baby clothing.

Our dressmaking fabrics are priced/sold in 25cm units. Therefore if you wish to purchase 1m, then add 4 units to your cart. Product will be cut as one continuous piece.
Wash & Care Guide
Tencel can be machine washed on a cool cycle - tumble dry low if necessary (or dry flat) and use a cool iron. Please remember that jersey fabric can shrink up to 20% during washing.
